Meet your guide in the small village of Meresti, (75 km from Sighisoara, 85 km from Brasov) or in Varghis (68 km from Brasov) and he will drive you on forest roads to the starting point of your fascinating journey.

“Excellent walk”: My partner and I did this walk in early April. The drive to the visitor station was suited for a 4wd car, however, we managed to get there in our little Renault. They supplied us with waterproof boots and walking poles which was a great help. Waterproof footwear is a must!! Finally, the walk is amazing. Very beautiful and we got told of many stories relating to the caves.
