Short description
Step off the beaten track and embark on a full day 4WD adventure in the Ciuc and Hasmas Mountains starting your tour from Miercurea Ciuc. Besides the stunning scenery, you will meet on the route local people and you will be witness of their traditional way of living, scenic lookout points and thrilling wilderness routes. We pass through small villages, hidden valleys and along mountain ridges giving you a unique experience with great photo opportunities. For lunch you can choose between picnic in nature or freshly baked trout at a local family. Optionally, you can enjoy an easy 3-hour hiking in the rocky Hasmas Mountains, visiting a Carpathian sheepfold or a guided via ferrata tour in the Bicaz Gorges.

- please dress warmly and bring water; sturdy, waterproof footwear and warm clothing is recommended for walking in nature
- there is a sunrise departure option
- we provide 4wd cars having 3, 4 or 5 seats for passengers besides your driver
- visiting an authentic Carpathian sheepfold and cheese tasting is available at a surcharge (5 euro/pers) only between May and September

The staff, which are young locals, were very keen to make the best of our afternoon. They speak a very good english, smile without commercial purposes and speak without prefabricated sentences but, what is the most important, they really love their place and enjoy sharing it. Istvan was a very nice guide, he took us on amazing places, we had a sandwich made by him in top of mountain, the view was astonishing. After that, my husband had his first experience at via ferrata, Istvan took good care of his back. I would highly recommend his tour, we are hoping to have more activities with him.
